The International Race of Champions was conceived as a shootout between the best of the best, bringing drivers from F1, sportscars and NASCAR into equal cars, leveling the plat=ying field, and seeing who the race winner could be. Currently campaigned by McLaren CEO Zak Brown, in vintage racing, this Camaro was originally driven by Cale Yarborough in 1977. I wanted to stay true to the spirit of the 1970’s feel with this piece, working with a color palette that reinforced the cars graphics and the “coming at you” perspectives used in period advertising.
